As the industry becomes more complex, the Piping Industry Training Center is dedicated to providing additional training to all Local 50 members.
The following journeyman classes are offered to the journeyman of Local 50:
DOT Gas Pipeline Certification
 Valve Repair Certification Orbital/TIG Heli-Arc Welding Weld Certification Backflow Certification & Recertification Braze Certification Med Gas Certification OSHA/Safety
UA STARUA Certifications in Welding, Medical Gas Installation, Valve Maintenance, and Level 1 & 2 Instrumentation are also available. Please contact the Pipe program at 419-666-0457 if you are interested in being tested. Additional seminars from Vendors, manufacturers, and industry leaders are also periodically scheduled from time to time.
